How do Siemens VFDs and HMIs work with Allen-Bradley PLCs on EtherNet/IP? In this hands-on workshop, you’ll control a SINAMICS G120 VFD with an A-B PLC using pre-engineered Add-on Instructions. Once the drive is integrated, you’ll configure the SIMATIC HMI. You’ll utilize the WinCC TagConverter tool to generate tags from the Allen-Bradley project, set up communications between HMI and PLC, and modify screens in TIA Portal for a WinCC Unified panel.
